Have you always wanted to paint furniture but aren‚t sure where to begin? There‚ is nothing like practicing on an actual piece of furniture! Join me for this fun furniture painting workshop on how to use DIY clay based chalk paint!

~You will learn how to transform an outdated piece of furniture into something you love! Bring in your own small piece of furniture (ex: plant stand, small side table, shelf, picture frame) to paint in class and use all of my materials, supplies, and expertise as I guide you through the process.

In this class you will learn how to:

~Properly prepare your piece for a lasting,
beautiful finish!
~Select a one color finish and paint your piece
using DIY paint
~Properly finish your piece with DIY Wax

Duration: Three hours
Location: My Store- Windmill Vintage Designs 3301 Menaul Blvd Suite 6 Albuquerque, NM
Materials: Just yourself and a small piece of furniture. We‚ will supply everything you need including snacks and beverages too!
*Workshop Fee: $85, including all materials (even paint and varnish!)

*Project pieces will need to be size approved
(you need to be able to carry piece yourself)
*PLEASE WEAR PAINTING CLOTHES-CHANCES
OF GETTING DIRTY ARE VERY LIKELY
*White/cream, light color choices are not
recommended for workshop‚ due to time
schedule, unless you‚ would like to complete your
piece at home after the workshop.

* CLASS WILL END AT 2 pm, IF YOU ARE
UNABLE TO COMPLETE YOUR PIECE DURING
CLASS YOU WILL RECEIVE INSTRUCTIONS
ON FINISHING AT HOME.
